Northeastern University’s Bouve College of Health Sciences has an online Master of Science in Nursing degree program with a concentration in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for registered nurses who are interested in working with premature or ill neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). This program has both a full-time track that students can complete in 12 months and a part-time track that students can complete in two years.

Admissions Requirements for Bouve College of Health Sciences’ Online NNP Program

Applicants to this program must hold an active and unrestricted registered nurse license to practice in their state of residence, and have completed at least two years of work in a NICU setting. Candidates are required to have completed a BSN program from a CCNE or ACEN-accredited institution with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0, and have completed courses in Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, and Statistics with a grade of B or higher.
