Before graduating from Duke University’s online MSN program in 2014, she was a Registered Nurse for over four years, specializing in cardiac nursing.
Alumni Interview with Michaela Klose, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, NP-C – Gonzaga UniversityMichaela Klose is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of nursing experience. She currently practices at MedProvider, a part of the Baylor Scott & White Health system. Ms. Klose holds an MSN from Benedictine Univeristy in the area of Management and Finance, and completed Gonzaga University’s online MSN FNP program in 2015.
Alumni Interview with Judson Lawrence MSN, FNP-C – Texas Tech University Health Sciences CenterJudson Lawrence is a Family Nurse Practitioner based in Longview, Texas, who has extensive training in Emergency Room nursing. He currently practices at Hospitality Health ER, and spent over seven years as an RN at Longview Regional Medical Center. Mr. Lawrence earned his MSN from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, completing their online graduate nursing program in 2015.
Alumni Interview with Leigh Montejo, DNP, FNP-BC – Duke UniversityLeigh Montejo completed her DNP in 2016 through the online program at Duke University. She currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner at a VA Medical Center and a convenience care clinic in North Carolina. Dr. Montejo has also served as a nursing school instructor, and a preceptor for MSN students.
Alumni Interview with Rebecca Singh, MSN, FNP-BC – Duke UniversityRebecca Singh earned her Post-Master’s FNP Certificate from Duke University’s online post-graduate nursing program in 2015. She currently works as a Nurse Practitioner for the Air National Guard in Washington D.C., and has experience as a Senior Nurse Medical Manager and an Emergency Room RN.
Alumni Interview with Alejandra Villegas, MSN, FNP – Samuel Merritt UniversityAlejandra Villegas works as a Family Nurse Practitioner at both a health care clinic and an OB/GYN office in Imperial, California. Along with these positions, she is also a part-time nursing instructor at Imperial Valley College. Mrs. Villegas earned her MSN from Samuel Merritt University in 2016 as part of their FNP program’s first fully online cohort.
Alumni Interview with Charla Watson, MSN, FNP-C – University of South AlabamaCharla Watson is a Family Nurse Practitioner who works for a primary care clinic in Alabama. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Bevill State Community College, and has experience working as an NP in urgent care. Ms. Watson earned her MSN in 2014, graduating from the online RN to MSN program at the University of South Alabama.
